Discerning of Spirits

Last November I went to California for a week for work. On the flight back I had a window seat and next to me was a lady and her husband was on the aisle. She was really nice and we talked for a really long time. They were on their way to go see their daughter graduate from college in Texas. After a while we finished talking and we each pulled out a book and started reading.

I always get a window seat if possible. I love sitting and looking out the window as we fly. I'll usually take a bunch of pictures too, Cameron always laughs at me on how many pictures I take!

I took a break from reading and looked out the window as I usually do. Out of nowhere, I felt this fearful feeling and a thought ran through my head, “You are so high up, what if something goes wrong with the plane and you crash.” I immediately was like what in the world? I never have these kind of thoughts! Then I realized, the Holy Spirit was showing me something. I looked over at the lady I was sitting next to who was nervously tapping her fingers followed by tucking her hair behind her ear. Her countenance showed fear. I knew the Holy Spirit was highlighting her, and allowing me to feel what was going on with her.

I prayed and I asked him, what do you want me to do? Do you want me to minister to her right now, or what would you have me do? The Holy Spirit led me to pull out my Bible and led me to several verses. He had me right out these verses for her, interpret them for her, and right out a prayer for her. So I pulled up those verses in my Bible, and wrote all them out in my notebook including the interpretation, and a prayer for her.

Then I ripped the page out and folded it up, and the Holy Spirit led me to just hold it for a while and pray over it like a prayer cloth. As I held the paper and prayed over it I kept asking him, Lord do I give it to her now? In my mind, I'm like she's suffering now, I need to give it to her now lol! But he kept telling me to wait.

Finally, I felt him lead me to give it to her. I handed her the paper and said the Lord wants you to have this, and know that he sees you and loves you. She took the paper from me with a shock looked on her face. She read it and her countenance changed. In amazement she looked up at me, and said thank you so much I am going to show this to my daughter too!

It is always so beautiful, how Jesus will align us with people who need a touch from him! God is so good and so faithful!
