He Makes All Things Beautiful In His Time

If the front door of your house were to fall off of the framing, would you want a quick temporary fix which would be to duct tape it back together and hold it in place, or would you want a more permanent fix to put up new framing, new hinges, and fix the door back onto the house in the correct manner? Sure the duct tape would fix the issue temporarily, but you would have to keep taping it back up every time you went in and out of the house.
Sometimes we want things to happen so quickly, that we just take the temporary fix instead of being patient and waiting for the correct fix to take place so that going forward we do not have to worry about it any longer. The quick fix will tend to fix it in the moment, but the issue can tend to keep arising causing us to fix it again and again because we never took the time to create a permanent fix.
Ecclesiastes 3:11 says, “He has made everything beautiful in its time.”
You see sometimes we try to rush things in our timing, rather than waiting on the Lord's timing. We saw this with Abraham and Sarah. The Lord's timing was for them to wait until he gave them Isaac, until he made everything beautiful in his time. But in the natural human mind we sometimes try to rush things and help God out when God does not need help. God told Abraham he would have a son, and in man's timing it was not happening yet so they took it into their own hands; and Abraham had a son, Ishmael, with Hagar. That was not God's plan but man's plan. God's plan was for Isaac with Sarah.
You see, man's plan fixed it, yes they were able to have a child, although the child was not born from Sarah, they had a child nonetheless. However that was more of a duct tape fix where they did not wait on the Lord for his timing and for him to make all thungs beautiful with a child that was truly both of theirs. No, instead they thought they needed to intervene and fix it but that was not the chosen child. Isaac was and that was the child the Lord would truly use the lineage of. Their plan caused all kinds of turmoil and headaches, because it was the plan of man and not the plan of God.
So what are you praying for today that you feel like, in your timing God is taking too long to answer? It took many years for Isaac to come as God had promised, but he came, in God's perfect timing he made all things beautiful. We don't know what God is doing behind the scenes. We don't know who he has to move around, what hurts he has to change, what doors he needs to close and open for your prayer to be a permanent fix and not a duct tape fix. You may be feeling despair because you have not seen and answer yet. But I assure you that every time you are coming to the throne room in prayer it is building up the atmosphere and moving and shifting things around that you do not even see which is building up to your answered prayer.
So what should you do while you are waiting for the promise of God to come to you? What should you do while you are waiting for God to answer your prayer? First and foremost trust in Him with everything knowing that he hears you and that he is a good Father. Do not give up hope and do not let doubt and lies of the enemy form any cracks in your foundation. Rebuke any thoughts that God does not hear you and that God does not answer your prayers and tell the enemy he is not welcome in your mind.
It is written, believe you have received it before you even have. It is written you have not because you ask not, or you ask incorrectly. It is written to pray without ceasing. It is written to have faith the size of a mustard seed. It is written that God takes care and provides for the birds in the air and how much more valuable are you to him.
So what you should do is believe God when he tells you something even if you don't see it yet in the natural. If he has said it it is done, have faith the size of a mustard seed and believe you have it even if you do not see it yet. God wants us to interact with him, so we must ask of him, and make sure that when we are asking we are asking biblical things so that we are not asking against the things of God. We must continue in prayer and pray without ceasing. Be fervent in prayer believing in the Lord knowing that every time you pray you are making it one step closer to your answered prayer. Think of it as your starting point , on your way to your destination. When you start you are at point A, and your answer is at Point C, your prayers are point B, the in between connecting point which is taking A to C step by step. Each time you pray you are one step closer to point C and one step further away from point A. Every time you pray you are filling that glass higher and higher with your hope and trust in God until finally it is God's timing and that cup is completely full and starts to overflow with your answered prayer. Stay strong in prayer and do not despair knowing that God is hearing and answering you. We serve an amazing God who is always faithful to provide. Put all of your hope and trust in him stay strong in prayer knowing that he makes all things beautiful in his time!
