Jesus said to him, “If you want to be perfect, go, sell what you have and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven; and come, follow Me.” But when the young man heard that saying, he went away sorrowful, for he had great possessions. Then Jesus said to His disciples, “Assuredly, I say to you that it is hard for a rich man to enter the kingdom of heaven. And again I say to you, it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter the kingdom of God.”
Matthew 19:21-24 NKJV
Money is not the root of all evil. Idolizing money and putting it before God is what is evil. Most people will quote, " it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter the kingdom of God." However, they fail to quote the scripture prior to this. The scripture prior to this Jesus was telling the rich man to sell his things, give it to the poor, and come and follow him. You see, this man was rich and Jesus wanted him to come and walk with him, to learn from him, to be with him. But the caveat was he had to give up his idol. His personal Idol was money. We also read how God had told Abraham to give up Isaac, when he told him to sacrifice his son. But see the difference is, Abraham put God first. Abraham was going to sacrifice Isaac, and when God saw that he was pleased because he knew where Abraham's heart was. God gave Abraham a sacrifice and spared his son. His son was not his Idol above God. Not every person would have done that. Some people would not have gone all that way up the mountain to attempt to sacrifice their son, which would mean their son was their Idol above God. It is the same with money, or anything that goes above God.
But one thing to realize is that wealth in the hands of Christians who do not have it as an idol in their heart, and place God before their wealth is a very good thing. They will use their wealth for God's Kingdom Glory. Just as in the scripture of Matthew Jesus told the rich man to sell his items and give to the poor, a wealthy person would also use their wealth for God's initiatives. Imagine a wealthy Christian who gives to Pregnancy Resource Centers, and now there are more options than just Planned Parenthood. Imagine a wealthy Christian who uses their wealth for education and to build Godly education systems rather than the government indoctrination camps. Imagine wealth in the hands of a Christian going to all Godly things. Supporting Christian political candidates, getting rid of demonic controlled candidates. Putting money into housing for the poor, food for the poor. Of course they're already are wealthy Christians doing this. But for the most part, as believers we hang on to this lie from the enemy that we should not obtain wealth, and by doing so we left the kingdom slip through our hands.
We, as Believers need a mindset change. We need to be praying for wealth, that God would provide to us. Not so that we can Elevate our living, but so that we can Elevate his kingdom. So that we can have more wealth than evil has, and so that we can be putting more money into Godly things, rather than evil putting more money into demonic things. Make us a blessing God so that we can bless you and others.

Yes, Amen!
So good Sis!🔥
