As Christians we know that there is Spiritual Warfare always going on around us. It is written, “For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual host of the wickedness in the heavenly places (Ephesians 6:12).” The fight between good and evil in the spiritual realm is ever present. Lately, evil has no shame in hiding and in fact it is the opposite where evil is boasting of it’s presence right before our eyes. We know that satan comes to kill and destroy and he will use any tactics necessary to win souls away from Christ to an eternal death. That is why we are told, “Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour (1Peter 5:8).” A few examples lately are the grammys. We have all heard of the satanic show that was put on there, absolutely appalling. What is even more sad about it, is that there are still a lot of people who don’t realize how evil that was, and they describe and deem the show as mere entertainment. They will say that there was nothing meant by it, it was only a show. These are lies from Satan, and those who do not have a veil over their eyes are awakened to this and can spot it immediately. It is satanic and against God. Another example is the halftime show for the Super Bowl that happened right after the Grammys. Then we have the satanic temple in New Mexico that is going to be doing abortion rituals. There is just so much evil present. But, that brought God's Warriors into action! God's people everywhere were praying against this evil, they were standing up for righteousness, they were pleading the blood of Jesus!
As Christians, we are the light of the world! We are each Temple that the Holy Spirit resides in and uses us for his glory! All of these people coming together to pray against all of this evil and ask God to move have had their prayers answered!
We are told, “if My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land (2 Chronicles 7:14).” well God heard us and he is answering in a mighty way! There is Revival breaking out all over, not only our country, but revivals breaking out in other countries as well! Jesus is filling people with his glory, Jesus is Calling people to him, saving them who have never been saved before! He is equipping his remnant to be strong in this dark hour and fight against all of this evil! God always wins! In Christ Jesus we are the light of the world! “You are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden. Nor do they light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a lampstand, and it gives light to all who are in the house. Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven (Matthew 5:14-16).”
Cameron and I were blesses to be able to go to one of the revivals! We drove up to the Asbury revival in KY and it was so Spirit filled and beautiful! It was absolutely amazing! There was nowhere to park, so we dove a bit and found a little side street by a park that had some street parking there. We parked there and made the walk over to the college campus. As we walked up towards it, you saw floods of people everywhere! You heard the music and it touched your soul deeply as you walked up. There was a line to get into the auditorium where the Revival was and that line seemed to go on forever! We walked near the line and we couldn't see where the end was! We looked around and there were other buildings with long lines as well! There were thousands of people and we knew that we were not going to get into the auditorium, PRAISE GOD for so many people showing up seeking him! We decided to join the large crowd that was out on the lawn in front of the auditorium. They set up speakers and large screen TVs casting the revival that was going on inside, which is also what they did for the other chapels and buildings where people were gathered and lined up waiting to get in.So many people HUNGRY for God! We walked around the lawn until we found a place to stand at. While walking, you saw people who had such an expression of Peace on their face. There were people with their eyes closed and hands up in the air as they sung their praises to God! There were some people standing quietly just soaking it all in. There were some people who were jumping up and down with excitement for the Lord! Everyone was focused on God and worshiping him! People were so absorbed in it that they lost their surroundings! They didn't care what they looked like, they didn't care how they sound, all they wanted was to show love to Jesus!
As we found our spot and began to worship, that peace and presence of God just emanated even more so! You can feel his presence you can feel his love! There was also something special about being outside and feeling the warmth of the sun touch your face as you gave him everything that you have! There was a peace in feeling and knowing Angels were all around! It was such a wonderful Godly experience! Of course we experience God and His presence all the time, we pressed into him we read his word we worship Him! But there is something extra special about going to a place where he has started a movement, where he has started a Revival, where he has called his people to be and move for him!
After a few worship songs, they had some college students each take turns reading some scripture. They all different kinds of scripture and some of them were weeping heavily while reading! After they were done reading one of the pastors from the college preached a short message as well. At the end of that, he gave a little recap on how the Revival started and he told us that there were people who came here from Brazil, Europe, India, all across the U.S., it was amazing Praise God! He told us that a lady who was Hindu flew here to learn about Jesus, and she gave her life to him up there on at the alter! She wasn't the only one of course! There were so many people giving their lives to Christ during this revival! God is moving!!! When he was done speaking another gentleman came up and he asked everyone to break out in prayer with one another. Then people started breaking out in huddles together, embracing each other-strangers, praying powerful prayers and lifting up the Holy Spirit! Praise God! Giving thanks to Jesus, praying blessings over these students, asking for healing over the land, all kinds of things!
After that prayer the speaker came back and he started talking about how God is moving amongst GenZ and he asked that everyone present who was over 25 years old find somebody who was under 25 years old to lay hands on them while he prayed a blessing! We walked over to a young man and young woman who looked like they were maybe 20 or 21 years old and we, with several other people laid hands on them as that gentleman prayed. We prayed with him in agreement with him and it was so Spirit-filled and amazing!
Then the gentleman asked everybody if they felt there was anything they needed to repent for or just be quietly to Jesus about to take some time and get on their knees and come to Christ with all of that! People were down on their knees, including us! People were just down on the grass, not caring who was around them, not caring what was going on around them, just wanted to have some one-on-one time with Jesus! People giving their hearts over to him, people asking for repentance, such a glory-filled Time with our creator! It was such an amazing time of repentance and time with Jesus!
When that was over we broke out into several more worship songs, it was so amazing and such a beautiful move of God!
We need to continue to pray for the lost, to pray for our nation, to pray for the world! Eternity matters!
Here are some short videos from the event, as well as a song my dad made a few years ago on revival!
