The LORD Equips Us

You may think you are unqualified, that you need to get to a certain point before you can evangelize to people or pray for them. You might think of all the people in the Bible who did amazing things and feel you fall short. Well guess what! The good news is you don't have to be at any certain “level,” because it is not you doing it, but the Holy Spirit working through you! He will equip you for whatever works He has for you. And, how did people in the Bible feel when they would go out? Well look at what Moses said:

“[1] Then Moses answered and said, “But suppose they will not believe me or listen to my voice; suppose they say, ‘The Lord has not appeared to you (Exodus 4:1 NKJV).’ ”

‘[10] Then Moses said to the Lord, “O my Lord, I am not eloquent, neither before nor since You have spoken to Your servant; but I am slow of speech and slow of tongue.” [11] So the Lord said to him, “Who has made man’s mouth? Or who makes the mute, the deaf, the seeing, or the blind? Have not I, the Lord? (Exodus 4:10-11 NKJV).”

You see, even Moses felt unqualified, but guess what! He was qualified because he was powered by God! That same Spirit lives in you! Know your identity in Christ, and step out of the boat to do His work! The harvest is ripe and people need a touch from God!
